What is Acupuncture?

Acupuncture is a form of alternative medicine that involves inserting sterilised needles in specific points on your body to help improve the flow of natural energy (Qi) within your body. This in turn can bring about a state of harmony and balance in you.

At Shropshire Acupuncture, I use a range of treatments including Tui Na, Massage, Cupping, Nutrition advice and Chinese herbs to help reduce stress, tension and many chronic western illnesses. If you've never tried this treatment before, I'm more than happy to spend up to 10 minutes on the phone to ensure you're completely happy to go ahead.

Contact me to arrange an appointment. Based in Shrewsbury, I welcome clients from across Bridgnorth, Ludlow, Ironbridge and the surrounding areas.
Acupuncturist

My style of Acupuncture

Almost all Acupuncturists develop their own style, based on their and experience. The training I received is a combination of Five Element Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, which enables me to treat an individual constitutionally, physically and emotionally.

I have been trained to make a traditional diagnosis which means that the first time I meet you I will ask detailed questions about your medical history, your diet and your sleep patterns. The answers to these questions will help me design a treatment plan for the symptoms as well as the root cause of the imbalance.

If you are not comfortable with treatments that involve acupuncture needles, don’t worry. I also offer treatments that use massage, moxibustion and cupping therapies.
